Sometimes we just can’t get enough of certain titles, even after we finish them through and through. I’ll do some testing here in a bit to see if I can figure out what’s causing it.What games to play if you like Crusaders of the Lost Idols: Ariadne Taskmaster Pack? I’m thinking there’s some weird bug going on with the swapped crusaders that somehow allows their lvls to count towards idols. The first time was in the “achievement of the day” thread where someone posted a screenshot of themselves resetting with 103,445 lvls, which is more than 3,000 lvls over the max. This isn’t the first time that I’ve noticed players having more crusader levels than they are supposed to. Where the heck are those extra 2,320 lvls coming from*?* However, his screenshot shows him with 26,859 lvls. And I’ll even throw in an extra 200 levels for Emo since that’s his main DPS and players usually keep their main DPSer at a higher lvl than everybody else. If Funeralord hit the “maximize lvls” button(which I’m assuming he did based on the crusader lvls in his screenshot) then his crusader lvls should look like this:īushwhacker 1470, Jim/Pam 1436, Emo 1412, Sasha/Groklok 1392, Hermit 1357, Kaine/Monkey 1344, Princess/Turkey 1323, Natalie/Jack 1297, Jason/Pete 1276, Artaxes/Drizzle 1249, Khouri/Momma 1221, Gryphon 1170, Sarah 1159, Panda/Santa 1129, Sal/Wendy 1098, Phoenix 1065, Reginald/Siri 1034, Thalia/Frosty 1001, Merci 969, and Nate 937. In his screenshot, the 6 crusaders he has visible on the bench all had MUCH lower levels than those same crusaders in my game. Then I thought to myself “Maybe he used a chest or something to get some extra levels on the crusaders.” But no. I tested out the Slow Decent farming method for myself and do you know what I found? I got to the same level(43) as Funeralord and in the same amount of time(92 min) and only had 50 idols where as he had 53. Tank build, magnified firestorm and phoenix…. The income from that in 90s will be 1000x more than a quantum leap…Īnd just now I realized that there would be one more nice source of money. Push to a higher level with buffs and then visit it everytime your abilities cool down, with max gold setup with good tanking, so that you’ll survive for the whole duration of the buff. In late levels, unless you’re autoclicking with tons of buffs, your only noticeable source of farming gold (yes, quantum leap will give you less than one level!) is gold-o-rama. If you want to try it earlier, I would recommend at least some levels in talents that prolong buffs (unless you’ve got tons of them) AND timed abilities. So, if you can get your damage to 1e100 in freeplay in diamond formation, slow descent should be fine for you. During the day I spent 1500 chests (in late 60s the gold helped, much less afterwards, but the trinkets helped much more, and if I had spent all those chests earlier it wouldn’t make this run slower really).Īnyway, it just so happens that on every level you need roughly 1eX where X is the level. When I started, I zoomed to 50, then pushed with some buffs to 62. I will do a very accurate test tomorrow and post the results, I promise.Įdit: updating with another inaccurate run: stopped instakilling on area 66, opened 6 chests, clicked Buy All, 91 Idols in 2 hours 35 minutes, that is 35.22 Idols/hour.ĭisclaimer: I still have to re-test Grimm’s, because that 30 Idols/hour was a couple months ago and it must have gone up by now. I still have to do a more accurate testing (I was afk for a bit on the first few tries) but even then it was still better than my previous Grimm’s Idol/hour rate. > Even with the x5 quests its better then Grimm? I stopped instakilling on area 64, and after opening the 6 chests I had gotten during the run, I stopped killing period on area 74, but I did get 100 Idols in 3 hours, so 33.3 idols per hour, which is better than Grimm’s 30 Idols per hour, so I think that mission will become my new farming spot. > I don’t think I’m going to complete it, and I have 25k Idols.
